Friday Funnies: Quotative Like

XKCD shows us just how hard core linguists can be when it comes to the 'quotative like'.

"God was like, 'Let there be light,' and there was light."

FRIDAY FEATURE: Constructive Criticism and You

The English language is full of quite a few foul words, but few are as foul as one most nefarious nine-letter word: criticism. (Quick! Walk outside, turn around three times, and spit over your shoulder!)
